This month, we were proud to present a cheque for £1,000 to Combat Stress, which was presented to their Community and Volunteer Fundraising Manager, Darren Jackson.

 Combat Stress is the UKs leading veterans’mental health charity, the work they do is life changing and often life saving

The Weald of Kent Lodge have recently signed the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating its commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and hope this donation will help provide specialist mental health treatment and support to veterans across the UK. 

 Darren Jackson said “We are so grateful to everyone at Weald of Kent Lodge for their donation and their dedication to standing alongside veterans and their families.

Well done to our boys. Our Team of happy golfers were very close Runners up on Friday at their first attempt at he William Blay Trophy at Chestfield Golf Club.

They came away with not only The Runners Up Shield but a case of Prosecco – which I am reliably informed they did not consume during the celebrations. Well Done
