You will then be contacted by one of our members who will reply to your email and request a short friendly meeting at a convenient place (pub /cafe)
This will be an initial discussion to ensure that both you and the lodge member, usually a senior member are happy to take your enquiry to the next stage, which is the completion of forms and an interview with other members of the lodge.
There will be a short period before the lodge will let you know that you have formally been accepted to become a member and an idea of when you can be initiated.
Freemasonry involves a progression through its three degrees before you become a Master Mason. This enables you to absorb its tradition at a pace you are comfortable, with no pressure to progress faster than you feel comfortable with. However, once you have been initiated you become one of the Fraternity and are amongst friends and are able to contribute to the charitable and caring aims of thge society.
